03 The Moon Born in Chains
The Supreme Pastimes — The Divine Arrival
========================================

In the silence of the prison, behind chains and dread,

A storm was rising while the stars softly bled.

Through time and space, the Absolute drew near,

Not born in sin — but born to end our fear.

The skies aligned with Rohiṇī's grace,

Peace spread like firelight across time and place.

Lotus bloomed and rivers sang again,

A child divine would walk among men.

He was born not from karma, but will of the flame,

With lotus and conch, He shattered the name.

Chains broke like silence, the heavens unfurled,

Kṛṣṇa descended — the light of the world.

Devakī trembled, love wrapped in fright,

In her arms lay the Lord, glowing with night.

“Hide Your form,” she wept, “O infinite one,

Lest Kaṁsa awaken before morning is done.”

Through thunder and flood, Vasudeva strode,

With Śeṣa above him, the Yamunā bowed.

A serpent’s hood, a father’s vow,

He crossed through time — and none knew how.

He was born not from karma, but will of the flame,

With lotus and conch, He shattered the name.

Chains broke like silence, the heavens unfurled,

Kṛṣṇa descended — the light of the world.

Three births You gave them, love without end,

As Pṛśnigarbha, Upendra, and now to defend.

The stars bore witness, the wise bowed low,

In silence You came, the cosmos to show.

From causal depths to atoms' core,

You shine within, beyond each door.

And now in Gokula, the world still sleeps,

While the Truth in a cradle gently weeps.

He was born not from karma, but will of the flame,

With lotus and conch, He shattered the name.

Chains broke like silence, the heavens unfurled,

Kṛṣṇa descended — the light of the world.

He was born not from karma, but will of the flame,

With lotus and conch, He shattered the name.

He was born not from karma, but will of the flame

Kṛṣṇa descended — the light of the world.
